A quote on Youtube on what will transpire tomorrow at 6PM, presumably according to this fruit loop named Harold "you're a fucking retard" Camping.
The 2011 end times prediction made by Christian radio host Harold Camping states that the Rapture (in premillennial theology, the taking up into heaven of God's elect people) will take place on May 21, 2011[1][2] at 6 p.m. local time (the rapture will sweep the globe time zone by time zone)[3] and that the end of the world as we know it will take place five months later on October 21, 2011.[4] Camping, president of the Family Radio Christian network, claims the Bible as his source and says May 21 will be the date of the Rapture and the day of judgment "beyond the shadow of a doubt".[5] His followers claim that around 200 million people (approximately 3% of the world's population) will be raptured.[6]
Source:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/May_21_2011Let me guess, these 3% are all Camping's "idiotic" & devout Christian followers am I right :P Seriously, if only three percent of all of humanity will be saved then how many people will that be on each country? One person, maybe two?And no, I'd rather have doomsday be caused by invading aliens, human stupidity (greed, bigotry & racism), artificially intelligent machines gone amok or a meteor/planet slamming into the Earth than it being caused by a narcissistic & egocentric God who wants people to worship him complaisantly. The Judea-Christian God gave us humans "free will" so we can live out our lives as we want to God damn it.... OK, yeah so I've watched way too many South Park already that it has rot my mind, but believing in a Civil God is better than fearing a thousand year old asshole some Christians have envisioned him, right?

Geez Cahos, you're seriously butthurt. Who the hell cares? Why does it matter that someone has different beliefs to you? Get over it.I wonder who's more narcissistic and egocentric here.

Lol. Read a bible, bro.

Read it, disliked it. I rather read the Necronomicon or any of H.P. Lovecraft's other books. Lovecraft's mythos is way more exciting than the Judea-Christian creation story :PAsk yourself this, OK God created the heavens & the Earth, but from what material? He made everything from the fallen body of Tiamat, Marduk made everything from Tiamat's remains that is.

The bible isn't about 'creation'. There's tonnes of stories in it. You don't have to take it so literally to enjoy it, much like the Quran. And I don't need to ask myself what God created the earth with. It's a story.I don't ask what the rings in lord of the rings were made of, because I don't need to.You are what's wrong with Atheism, you care so much about what they believe and how they're wrong that you're as bad as they are in what you believe.Idiocy.

FYI, I'm not Atheist & in fact I've often butt heads with the more adamant Atheists on here in the past.I am religious, that is I believe in a set of faith systems which I've found from various religions & collected as part of what I think what "God" ideally is. For example, I don't believe in heaven or hell & instead believe in reincarnation, however I also believe in karma, so in a way I believe that when we die our reincarnation will be affected by how we lived our previous life. If you were a dick to everyone in your past life, then everyone will be a dick to you in the next.I used to say I was Agnostic, until somebody on here pointed out that Agnostics do acknowledge a higher being but not believes in any one.

Whoever said that's what agnosticism is, is, well, wrong.Agnostic theists believe that there could be a god. There is more detail in this, as in, there most likely is a god, but there's no proof. Essentially unknown.Agnostic atheists believe that there could not be a god. As in, they believe that there likely is no god, but there's no proof. Essentially unknown. You can't really just sum up agnosticism, easily, tbh.So your set of 'faith systems' consist of reincarnation and karma. And god isn't god but a metaphor for what you think it should be.Right.Okay.

Well I don't worship a narcissistic self centered worship only meh God if that's what you're hinting. I'd rather believe in a God of War, A God of love, a God of retribution etcetera. Heh, even Lovecraft's Marduk only has 50 other names & powers, but your "one God" is in way over his head.Dug up this old debate thread...Too bad the guy got banned, I'd bet you'd have fun "debating" him about your God & Satan LOL!http://forum.romulation.net/index.php?topic=16940.msg191436#msg191436

I'm an Anti-Theist. I am unsure of what god you're referencing I believe in.Good job believing in Lovecraft's work, though. I'm fairly sure they're known fiction, but it's cool, G.

Faith: not wanting to know what is true. So, anybody got any plans on what to do if it does happen?
The US government has released advice on how to cope with a zombie apocalypse, which I find odd :-\
Im up for a bit of fun though, zombie apocalypse would be cool.

Be grateful that the obnoxious & annoying Christians are gone from this Earth although I do believe that Mormons are the only ones accepted in heaven A_AAnd yeah, I'd screw all the women I can until October 21 \^_^/

The bible is also a work of fiction mind you...And the Greek Gods, Norse Gods & animistic spirits are way cooler :P

I don't disagree. It doesn't mean I can't appreciate the stories.

I really doubt this Rapture happen. The Lord is meant to be eternal and everlasting love... so why would he let this happen?

Maybe he just gets bored and wants to start again from the beginning, I think that anyone that's played a Poke'mon repeatedly knows the feeling; he's bored with his full set of badges, Poke'mon master status and level 80+ Charizard and wants to play through the game with a Squirtle and choose the Helix fossil this time. In 6,000 years the jellyfish that have been chosen to become the new dominant species will be having this same discussion, or wobbling around and stuff.

Yeah, they say it was to prepare people for many different type of disasters. They likened a zombie apocalypse to many other types of disasters.Oh wait, that's the boring explanation. More assumptions and conspiracies are needed. It's because zombies will take over on May 21st!
