What for you is the best system of all-time?

this is "what is your best system" not what's the best systemand to say any console has a "lack of quality games" is stupid, it just means you've not got the console and not looked the wii has loads of great games and i know the graphics are not as good but game play does beat the hell out of anything else. i don't know about ps3's games catalog as i don't own one but it has many of the titles that is on 360 and has a few exclusive that i've heard good things about.the failure rate thing is bollocks, if you have one that fails its your own fault for not looking after it, people forget we are not dealing with silly little 16 bit consoles any more these are powerful machines and need to be treated so.the majority of people pick 360 not because it boasts the best of anything its because its cheap in comparison to the other consoles+accessories and well people are sheep and copy what everyone else is doing.

My favorites are the 64, SNES, and the Gameboys (all of them... except for micro)

You guys must admit that Nintendo makes really fun and entertaining consoles

My top four would have to be SNES, DSl, PS2 and PSX.

Snes hands down for me, I have a mario allstars console boxed with lots of games I think I might have to get it set up now and have a retro gaming night.

House of the dead and Sega Bass Fishing were great games on the dreamcast though stayed up late many a night completing those.

Each console i've had I've got a lot of enjoyment out, I couldn't pick one cause The Megadrive/Genesis was my escape from first school, Then I got a playstation, had it chipped and got practically every game from blockbuster for it :P
Then I got a ps2 and N64 (I was sooo late getting this!) and went back to buying games and remembering what it was like to have physical games and manuals and fun stuff like included maps and posters and I got the 360 and play games online with loads of people now. They're all soo good

I vote for the Good Old "GameBoy" for being a fighter and survive the onslaught of multiple more powerful challegers such as GameGear, Lynx and a few others. He fought from 1989 to 1998 and was consider a very long fight considering him as a diminutive 8-bit mono-chromatic friend (do upgraded to limited color later on in life). Rest In Peace....and you will be forever in out memory...so touching :(I would also like to extend my greatest gratitude to "SNES" for giving me years of memories. (So sweet and memorable)"PSX" also deserve a place for making 3D games commercialised and giving it a boost.

I loved the SNES, so I'll go with that.

Aside from PC, for me it's PSX, probably because I didn't really enjoy games at the SNES/N64 era and I can't afford to buy the 3rd gen systems. PSX has spawned so many great titles for all ages and has provided me lots of enjoyment for about six years. Too bad it lacks Nintendo :P, oh well. It'd be the absolute best if it does.
