dude, i know you're a mod and all, but come on, you're basing which console is the best based on THAT?besides, the Jasper units already fixed those.

also if people treated their 360's with care it would not fail its only because they do things like put them in poorly ventilated areas or upright or play it for hours on end.

same as me? i'm basing my answers on what is said in articles, mostly by credible sources. the PS3 sucks so much that in fact, EGM even made an issue with the PS3's failing expectations as the headline (that's the one where the picture in the frontpage is a PS3 that apparently has tomatoes thrown at it).I'm not going to argue about the failure rate, because it's true (but M$ replaces them, so there you go). But to base which system is better just because of that, that's just utter bias.I'm not going to choose a console because it's less prone to being broken because what it'll only do is be a look pretty while no one uses it. 360, well it could be a broken paperweight eventually, but at least i had fun with it before it becomes one.

I choose not to spend my money on unreliable equipment. If a manufacturer lets me down, I never buy from them again. Why should I? if they want to keep my business, they'll make reliable products. Same goes for microsoft. It's not bias at all, its common sense.Also, your statement 'the PS3 sucks so much' is typical of an xbox fanboy who can't see past the microsoft advert plastered on their nose. I have a PS3 and I'm very happy with it, thank you.

That list is totally meaningless unless you post the sources for that information. EGM (a gaming magazine if I'm thinking of the right one) is hardly a creditable source either, and its just plain silly to say that a console is failing because of its game library. You never know what the future games will be released. So yes, that did seem very biased to me.And is the failure rate really 60%? I was really hoping to get a 360 one day, but not if its going to quit on me like that =/

with that said I love my ds more then anything for me, introduced me to a lot of games

firstly, i've chosen to skip this generation because 1) XBOX's RRD case 2) Wii's lack of quality games and 3) PS3's lack of quality games. In fact, I only considered buying one is because of SF4, and i think ill get a PS3 for that because of 360's controller issues (most say it doesn't fit for SF. But let's be honest, the stats don't lie. Almost every forums i've been in (sherdog, some local private server forums, here, etc) almost the majority pick 360 over PS3.True, you should never buy products that aren't built to last, but that doesn't mean that they're not going to do something about it.

I couldn't care less about what forums say. I have a ps3, and quality of games are good. Depends on the person. Mabye you like RPG after RPG or kid games. But how can you say the games of PS3 lack quality when it has great graphics, and most games on ps3 are also on the 360. The only good game ps3 doesn't have that xbox has is halo, which isn't all that great. COD 4 is even better. Ps3 also has free wi-fi unlike the xbox 360.
