resident evil 2...on nintendo...theroies?

Re: resident evil 2...on ds...theroies?Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars, Mario & Luiji: Bowsers inside Story and many good looking games are 128MB but I never thought that it would be 256MB! GTA:CW would probably look a lot better if it was in a 256MB cart and it could possibly be 3D! But still, it's impossible for RE2 to be on the DS unless they make it like GTA:CW, birds eye view or 2D like Super Mario Bros.

Birds eye view...that would defeat the point of porting it.They can make the first game re-done, so why not the second, just splitting leon and claire?

Nope. It's not impossible. They did Pseudo 3D with RE:DS, just in case you didn't know. And the only reason RE2 if ever, would need a 256mb cart, is because it's a massive game, story, sound and graphics wise.

I really hope you're joking. Do you not realise that it is 3D? And pretty detailed 3D at that.Basically, because RE: DS worked fine, I'm guessing the only thing that might limit a RE 2 port would be size, as dancubs said. I mean, both games originally used pre-rendered backgrounds anyway (ie the only truly 3D things were the moving objects and characters) just as RE: DS did.

Re: resident evil 2...on ds...theroies?2 seperate carts for each character, sold seperatly, sounds like a great idea to me.Sure, unlike the original you can't experience the full story unless you buy both, however with some new features in both, and a proper co-op mode where both characters are placed in the same gameplay and maybe an altered story would make things interesting...and maybe the ability to save co-op process...Now I see a coin here, heads says it can be done as 2 seperate carts, tails says it won't do the game justice because the story is seperated.Of course...having the ability to play as the other character in both games works, heck I thought of names for the carts.Resident evil 2:Ada's story (follow Leon's path where he meets ada, claire is playable after completion like the original)Resident evil 2:Sherry's story (follow Claire's path where Sherry is encountered, Leon is playable after completion)Better and more sece than leon cart and Claire EH?

Re: resident evil 2...on ds...theroies?that could be intersting but don't you think it will be too much for a nds game.
ie if you play with another character would be appropriate to add an extra story or something

Well, while I never got that far, I know in the original you could do the other character's story with the other (leon's part with claire, etc). And no need for new story, the previous game didn't add anything new to it.

Re: resident evil 2...on ds...theroies?well what i meant is that it would be more harder (damn more) for capcom to release the game with more elements.... if it is limited so(this guy insist in the limitation damn some one go kick his foolish ass) <- that's me talking to myself

They can do the first, they COULD try again, but the stories would have to be seperated into 2 seperate carts. That's the problem.

Yes, your thoughts?I know number 4 is impossible...3 would be more belivable, if anything it'd be easier to port.

Oh capcom. Have you seen Resi Evil Gaiden? I have no idea what that looks like, but I've been seeing it all over my old Tips and Tricks magazines.

I got the rom...It's an ok effort, gameplay is mostly intact, but fighting zombies is in...a timed mini game and you still have the ammo limit to contend with along with just aiming at the stupid zombies! And you only fight zombies for the most of it.

A Super Smash Goddamn Brothers port on the DS. Jeez.Oh oh oh. Better yet. A Metal Gear Solid port to the DS. Hideo Kojima owes it to Ninty. They did put snake in SSBB. ::)
