Most underrated game series of all time?

MR4YHow many games people mentioned are not rpg games? XD

i mentioned Musashi, its like an action/adventure game
PS: probably Persona series can be considered underrated

ThasaidonThey are not in a series as most have been mentioned already but a couple of single games I consider underrated would be MadWorld, and Dante's Inferno.

Madworld for me. Dante's Inferno was just God of War, but with different characters to me. :PAlso, I don't know how well people know it, but Eternal Eyes wasn't known to many people that I know or people I've talked with. It's my favorite RPG ever made. And possibly the only one I have played 10 times through.

Heh, we're still talkin SERIES. That means 2 games or more. And remember, to be underrated, It has to have had either
A. Entire Series was Critical Success and poor sales
B. Entire series was Critical Failure and poor sales but very well made
C. Entire series was released in only Japan/EU and critical sucess/failure (but good either way) and poor sales. So Gekibo/Photoboy applies to C.Anyone DLed/tried Gekibo 1 PCE yet? It doesnt cost any romu points cause its small and the emu is from its home site. And if you have a hacked ps2, you MUST try gekibo 2. Most is in english. Download a list of goals from gamefaqs though, those are in japanese.Earthbound as a series is terribly underrated, but since melee a few more peeps have been learnin bout it.

Gekibo and Brave Fencer Musashi, from what I see.

Fire Emblem.
One of my favorite series, and i think very underrated.

Bah! fine then.Vandal Hearts series.

mario :(

Meatboy. Silly kids rate it down cause it's too hard for them. They blame it on the "shitty controls".

Would the Timesplitters series count as underrated?

Barbie
I really don't know, never played any of them but I'm just in a barbie mood :P

athemoe · #26mario :(

Wow.A Series that has the highest-selling game in existence is so underrated.XD

Corriger · #28Would the Timesplitters series count as underrated?

YES!!! If it was rated accordingly, then maybe there would be more copies and I can find one for myself, then I can play Timesplitters Future Perfect >< had to stick with Timesplitters 2 for all this time though that's not a bad thing but the youtube videos make me drool...

Ohh, you have no idea what you're missing, multiplayer alone is worth the buy, but single player is hilarious. If you have a good PC then wait, they're porting it over sometime soon.I know I've talked about them before, but Quintet's Trilogy for the SNES Soul Blazer, Illusion of Gaia and Terranigma are all great.

Tell me about it...I wonder if I can download it from the net and burn it to a DVD. Dang >< why can't I find that freakin game!!!

Nah, EarthBound has to be the MOST underrated game series of all time. So much so that Nintendo of America refuses to acknowledge it's existence... Just because their over priced bundle of EarthBound didn't sell alot

Seriously, TimeSplitters Future Perfect is the best fps you can get on PS2. Story is hilarious.

I loved the zombie upskirt scene xD watched it on youtube.

And Nintendo refuses to acknowledge its existence by putting Ness and Lucas in brawl ::)

Actually Earthbound is horribly Overrated, people seem to act like God himself came down and made the game. It's really not as good as people like to think it is.

Obviously you played a hacked version, those characters don't exist ;)

i have that one and ssb was a good game but now days ssb brawl is not soo good compared to some games, but that series is still good.
