I'm waiting for a gameshow that uses live execution. The people could phone in and vote for a death of choice.#1 Electrocution
#2 Decapitation
#3 Eaten alive by animal X
#4 Infected with a compound that breaks down skin and muscle.
#5 Freedom -- only to have him "accidentally" be run over by a car as he leaves the parking lot.
#6 Death by Pedobear (Don't ask)

There was a gameshow awhile ago where you had to answer a question correctly or else you have to zap another person with 200 volts of electricity. It was staged though.

Most are terrible but i liked the one that was on a few months ago with davina mccall as the host its called million pound drop on channel 4.Contestants started with 1 million pounds and had to answer like 8 or so multiple choice questions betting on each answer with any amount of the 1 millon they wanted (so if there were 3 options you could put 333k on each answer) Although on the final question you have to bet all of your cash on 1 of 2 answers funny as hell because if its a wrong answer all the cash they put on that answer would be dropped down a chute right in front of their eyes XD

LaughingStockHAI GUISE. I wrote another one for my ELA class.
I HATE GAMESHOWS.
Game shows should be taken off the air permanently. They are the blandest shows ever. Even shows with good concepts are ruined by multiple factors. But the shows that are just plain stupid are just quick ways to make money. Some of the more notable ones are Deal or No Deal, Are You Smarter than a Fifth Grader, and Minute to Win it. There are multiple reasons as to why I hate them, but the only true reason is because of the hosts. They could not have picked anybody worse for the job. Howie Mandel, Jeff Foxworthy, and Guy Fieri. I hate all of them. The problem with Howie is that he doesn’t quite understand that he’s not funny. He totally bombed on The Jay Leno Show, even though Jay Leno isn’t a funny man either. For once, I was surprised that Jay Leno actually had better material. Having him host the games how of summer 2005 was too generous of an offer. But back in the 80s, he actually was pretty funny. Now he’s evolved into some freak of nature that wants as much attention as possible. He’s done some awesome things in the past such as blow rubber gloves up over his head with his nostrils, make funny jokes, AND HAVING HAIR. Now this man has some serious issues. He shaved his head bald because he has germophobia, he claims that he has OCD, and is not funny anymore. As said before, he totally bombed on The Jay Leno Show. Jeff Foxworthy is just a total failure at everything he does. Who decided to have a redneck be the teacher of five young and innocent students? His redneck humor is not funny and he never makes any clever jokes. I don’t really know much about this man, but he was a terrible choice for a host. Guy Fieri is just a man that you naturally hate. He’s like that one kid who tags along and always has to make comments every 30 seconds in order for others to notice that he’s there. A person who never shuts up and makes stupid comments should not be a host of a game show. He basically ruins the whole show. Minute to win it actually sounded like a cool gameshow at first. At that time, I didn’t know who Guy Fieri was. Now I know that he’s a failed cook with a cracking voice. The show alone has a great concept, but they dragged it down with a terrible host. Guy Fieri’s conversations with the contestants are really bland and he tries to be clever, such as calling two contestants “Jim and Pam” because they fell in love in an office. Many game shows try to make the viewers think that they’re show is supposed to be exciting. Such as shows that features throwing objects off of a building or an intense lie detector session. Back in 2008, a show called “The Moment of Truth” was revealed on TV. They strap their contestants to lie detectors and ask them really person questions. There are already multiple problems wrong with this show. Lie detectors are only 61% accurate and this show was basically made to get as many sponsors as possible. 75% of the show is basically just conversation and they throw in 5 minute long commercial breaks every three questions that they ask. This show drives me insane. Once the contestant answers a question, the lie detector doesn’t give us the results right away. To build up suspense, they wait anywhere from 5 seconds to a whole minute. Sometimes they even cut off to commercial break before revealing the results. I wonder why no one realizes that this doesn’t make an exciting show. No one watches TV so they can wait for results, unless you’re watching one of those stupid soaps that are always over dramatic. Just this year, NBC introduced a gameshow called “Downfall” where they throw prizes off a skyscraper if the contestant fails. This was the only selling point of the show. This would be great if youtube wasn’t available to people in the USA. Maybe they should have released it in China instead. Other than the fact that only seven year olds or hillybillies will enjoy the show, they can’t even do the show correctly. Instead of throwing the actual objects off the skyscraper, they throw replicas of the objects off the skyscraper. Gameshows are getting really dry. I don’t understand why it takes 30 minutes to for two people to answer 6 elementary school questions. Mr. [NAME REMOVED] gives us 50 minutes to answer 120 questions. Other countries have a right to laugh at us now. Many shows incorporate a ton of gimmicks into basic quiz shows to gain more viewers. Downfall is one of them. Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader is another one. All the rest ruin the show by inviting B-list stars to host the gameshow. Howie Mandel should not be remembered for anything besides blowing rubber gloves over his head with his nostrils. He has turned into some freak who claims to have OCD and has a terrible sense of humor. Guy Fieri is a man that lost his fame 5 years ago. There’s a reason why America doesn’t care about him anymore, and the reason is because he’s unqualified for everything he does. Many of the longer running shows such as Jeopardy or Wheel of Fortune are fine shows, but one that has been running for too long is The Price is Right. Nobody likes Drew Carey anymore, and the 90s are over now. The show’s filled with old people and the kind of people that no one likes. People constantly pull off dick moves such as bidding one dollar less or one dollar more than the previous opponent. Other people just gaze into the audience who tell them what each item is worth. Many of these shows, staged or not, are just not something that I want to watch. They’re over blown and fail to be entertaining. Sometimes you may be able to get a smirk out of the stupid contestants that they put on Are You Smarter than a Fifth Grader who get the easiest questions incorrect, but other than that, you’ll have to sit through over excited contestants and the worst acting that you can ever see.
I hate deal or No Deal, I like Are You Smarter then a 5th grader because you actually have to answer questions right to get money, on deal or no deal, all you do is guess. Also Howie does indeed have OCD, he has a thing with shaking hands, that's why he always fists bumps people.

Lolwat. All they did was dumb down every other quiz show and gave it a classroom theme.

Not really, it still needs knowledge to get the money, can't just guess.

You have 6 questions, 3 lifelines and many of the questions are multiple choice. You can say whatever the hell you want on that show.

It's 10 questions and 3 lifelines, plus the bonus question so 11. Every time they get it wrong, they lose money. You can't say whatever you want lol, you will get it wrong.

Anybody who doesn't know, the host of Deal or No Deal, Howie, he is a complete germaphobe. Not OCD, he is legitimately scared of what you could potentially give him. Thus, he keeps contact to a minimum and goes to extremes if he has to be around sick people (medical masks for example).
