Britain's 2010 Elections

markswanThe BNP is saying that they will have a choice and be compensated at the moment, i sincerely hope (and would pray to any god i think might help if i weren't an atheist.) that they never gain power; because the inevitable day when they cast aside human rights and do whatever the fuck they like would be a dark time that would never be forgotten and haunt the future of this country for as long as any decent human being dwells here outside of their element.
This doesn't matter in the slightest. You are forgetting the House of Lords.
They will always override any unjust decision by the government if its needed. Thanks Loonylion for answering my questions.

insanecrazy07And who's to say they won't do the same shit and corrupt to the same power?
Just something to think about. Not necessarily never been in power before, but people that do not succumb to that power would be a better recommendation...but how do you sort out the ones you want from the ones you don't?
no-one is saying they wont, but until they get in we wont find out, where as we already know that the 3 main parties are totally corrupt and morally bankrupt. And the only way to find people that dont get corrupted by power is to give them power and see.

there you go, the BNP cant go too far
just look at whos policies best address our problems, if everyone voted like that BNP would get in
a 4 year term just to get things moving would be a good thing, another party could come in after 4 years and keep the stuff thats worked without ever having to do it themselves because they aint got the balls whilst brussels is ruling us

Mark,if we keep letting in them sorts then our country will be just as big a shithole as the countries they have left.We need a Government that will GTF out of Europe, stop ALL immigration from Pakistan an Africa and address almost all them stupid Human Rights poicies. We also need a review on criminals appealing every 2 minutes about convictions, thats if they ever get convicted under a Labour government.

LoonylionAnd what words might those be, pray tell? and don't quote another bullshit media report. Nick Griffin has freely admitted he was foolish in his youth when he denied the holocaust, he no longer holds that view. Large swathes of labour are ex communist party members and still hold those views.
So media reports and quotes are no longer good enough evidence in your eyes? I don't support members of any party that have the same hateful views as Nick Griffin in the BNP, unfortunately, i don't decide who is and isn't appointed to to most of the positions in the main parties.
NONE of the major parties have fired their criminal members. Peter Hain, for example, is a violent bank robber who was never charged despite multiple positive identifications from eyewitnesses and cctv. But because he was a member of the one of the big parties, the case was conveniently dropped. Lets not mention the half dozen labour and conservative politicians with paedophillia convictions either.
And i'm not supporting them or their parties decision to keep them, i'm fuly against it.
pull your head out of your ARSE before you open your mouth. then maybe less shit will come out of it.
If this is this you think talking sense is and speaking the truth, then i'm glad you think that i'm talking out of my arse. And thanks for completely disregarding my points on homophobia; you may as well have admitted you were wrong.
And do you think you have any better ideas? No, you don't. We've had YOUR party's policies for the last 20 years and they clearly don't work.
>Implying that Labour is my party

I'm not denying those things, and i know that the main three parties are currently doing very little (practicly nothing, or at least; nothing that works) to curb immigration and crime. It's easy to look at the BNP and see them as the answer to all Britain's problems if you completely ignore everything they have done and said in the past and just support them with blind optimism. Trying to fix Britain with the BNP is like cleaning dirt from a house by dropping a nuke on it. Getting other parties to make the changes that are needed is going to be a long and hard path, but if the alternative is creatures like the BNP being in power then it's one that i shall gladly walk.

Labour and conservatives have been identical in beliefs and policies for over a decade. Nu-labour is just the continuation of thatcherite conservatism.

Replying to #106

Parties change, what they may have said or done in the past is irrelevant. labour used to be the working man's party, now they're the party of the rich and the immigrants. Conservatives actually used to conserve before thatcher, now they're all about globalism and selling everything to the highest bidder, much like labour. lib dems used to be in power, but now look at them. Getting the big parties to change is a waste of your time; it wont happen. they need to be disbanded and reformed with a ban on anyone who was previously in them rejoining. they are corrupt and self-serving to the very core.

I'm not a "fan" of any particular party. Some people choose a party, stay loyal to them no matter what they do and then strongly defend them when people criticise them; i'm not one of these people. I'm voting Conservative because they are (in my opinion) the least crappy party of the main three at this point in time (and despite the fact that their policies are very similar in many aspects to those of Labour, they are not yet swelled with the uncaring arrogance that comes from twenty years in power). If the the Conservatives do get in, i hope that being starved of power for the last twenty years pushes them to prove themselves to actually listening to what people want (the fear of being ousted for Labour or another party if they don't will probably help too) and making the changes that are needed.
It would be terrible for this country if Labour won the election, it would practically be the same as every voter in Britain saying "we don't give a fuck that you've been repeatedly abusing power and degrading this country in almost every area for the last two decades; please continue to do whatever the hell you like for the next five years".

'labour' havent been in power for 20 years. Only for 13. Prior to that it was conservative who had exactly the same policies, in effect making it the same party in power. Different in name and colour only. People say that the conservatives are 'blu-labour', but in reality its labour who have become the same as the conservatives, who as it happens are not the party they were pre-thatcher. Like one of those shady companies that gets shut down only to resume trading under a different name, we've had a nu-conservative government ever since thatcher was elected in 1979. So really, the conservatives are no better than liebour. David cameron would be the worst possible choice for a PM, quite possibly even worse than brown (who at least has mandelson pulling his strings).

funnily enough, videos can be faked these days. And the way a large number of muslims behave in this country, islam is a cancer in our society. If they would behave themselves, or the decent muslims would come out of the woodwork and condemn their behaviour, and try to stop it, then there wouldnt be any problem.

Stereotyping all the "immigrant types" all terrorists and criminals is the sort of idiocy that that sets me against the BNP. Condemning the BNP doesn't mean supporting terrorism, non-capped immigration, or crimes committed by immigrants.
msg2009 · #114how about approaching this with an open mind and looking at EVERYONES policies?
I HAVE looked at the BNP's policies. I DO have an open mind; that's why i don't assume every homosexual, Muslim, and immigrant in the country to be filthy parasites to be purged from our society.
Loonylion · #116funnily enough, videos can be faked these days.
That video hasn't been faked for Christ's sake, the extent to which people can delude themselves never fails to amaze me.
Loonylion · #116And the way a large number of muslims behave in this country, islam is a cancer in our society.
I don't think that the number of Muslims whom commit crimes is any higher than the number of Christians, Catholics or most other religious groups in this country; Muslims get all this shit thrown at them because an incredibly small number are involved in extremism, if people took a small number of cases of serious crimes commited by any other race or religion as proof that every member of that race or religion is a cancer on our society; it would be dismissed as a fallacy, just as all Muslims being extremists should be.
Loonylion · #116If they would behave themselves, or the decent muslims would come out of the woodwork and condemn their behaviour, and try to stop it, then there wouldnt be any problem.
The vast majority do behave themselves, the vast majority do condemn their actions; Muslim communities do as much to curb extremism as they can. It's just that millions of Muslims privately condemning extremism don't really gain as much attention as some lunatic with a hook for a hand spouting intolerance and other such crap on a street corner.

Arsalan Iftikhar would take serious offense to the whole "MUSLIMS ARE EVIL BASTARDS" thing, you know. It's not just immigrants committing crimes...You, uh... do know that modern states like Australia were... founded by immigrants... right?Again: BEHOLD THE FACE OF CRESCENT EVILFierce hatred and bigotry--you might make a great terrorist XD

You're the one stereotyping. And condemning the BNP means supporting the destruction of the British nation and way of life.
markswan · #118I HAVE looked at the BNP's policies. I DO have an open mind; that's why i don't assume every homosexual, Muslim, and immigrant in the country to be filthy parasites to be purged from our society.
Clearly not or you wouldn't still be parroting the garbage that the media pumps out every day. Or stereotyping BNP members. you'd make a perfect UAF member the way you're going on.
markswan · #118That video hasn't been faked for Christ's sake, the extent to which people can delude themselves never fails to amaze me.
You're the delusional one. I never said that video was faked, I said it is POSSIBLE to fake videos, which is perfectly correct.

Funnily enough, statistics suggest otherwise. There are entire towns in this country where white people dare not venture for fear of getting attacked by the muslim gangs that consider the town 'their turf'. in the cases where whites HAVE been attacked, it has almost never been recorded as a 'racially motivated' incident even when the gang members were yelling 'infidels out' and other such bile. were the situation reversed then it would most certainly be classed as a racial attack and the victims would be awarded compensation. Do the 'moderate muslims' do anything about this? Very little. it's not just 'captain hook' causing problems here, and nor is it the 'tiny minority' you are implying it is. It may well be a minority, but its a large minority. Large enough to be a serious problem and a cancer on our society and the religion itself. If these people 'do not represent islam' then damn well throw them out of the religion. Otherwise they will continue to tarnish islam by association. Christianity can excommunicate clergy who bring the church into disrepute, islam can perfectly well give the radical clerics the boot. It doesn't, so further tarnishment by association, and no action from the muslim council of britain aside from token hand-wringing and chanting the sacred mantra 'these people do not represent islam'. Time for islam to put its money where its mouth is and DO something about it. decisive action; not excuses. Otherwise difficult questions are going to be asked, and straight answers demanded.
markswan · #118The number of people in this thread supporting the BNP depresses me.
your attitude to the future of the british nation disgusts me.
