ultrax-3=[[x^2]/5]-4x=11-xshift to one side you get, [x^2]-30x-70=0you can't factor in the result because you could get a multiple of 70 but you can't get a total of 30. this means the quadratic equation, which will result in a mixed number.i got [30+-sqrt[620]]/2
Um...I don't think that's the right equation to begin with.
kukurua man once proved 2=1 at the youtube
but the truth is he's an idiot
Yeah, there are a lot of idiots on Youtube.

That's definitely not the equation. Hypr's got it right, although some confusion can be rectified with a better worded question.
If you subtract 3 from me, square the result
Thus (x-3)^2 not x-3 = x^2

(x-3)2 / 5 - 4x = 11 - x = (x2 - 6x + 9) / 5 - 4x = 11 - x
=> (x2 - 6x + 9) / 5 - 4x + x - 11 = 0
= x2 / 5 - 6x / 5 + 9 / 5 - 3x - 11 = 0
= x2 / 5 - 6x / 5 + 9 / 5 - 15x / 5 - 55 / 5 = 0
= (x2 + (-6 - 15)x + (9 - 55) )/ 5 = 0
= x2 + (-6 - 15)x + (9 - 55) = 0
= x2 - 21x - 46 = 0x1,2 = -p/2 +- sqrt ( (p/2)2 - q )p = -21
q = -46=> x1,2 = 21/2 +- sqrt (441/4 + 46)
= x1,2 = 21/2 +- sqrt ( (441 + 184)/4 )
= x1,2 = 21/2 +- sqrt (625/4)
= x1,2 = (21 +- 25)/2
= x1 = (21 + 25)/2 = 23
= x2 = (21 - 25)/2 = -2Thank you very much for watching.@Everybody with the the same result: you're right.
@Everybody with another results: you're wrong.And I'll continue mentally snorring, now *yawn*.
Edit: thanks for the hint Blade
