i loved soulblade i fought the series had ended for about 5 years and then i bought soulcalibur 4 and saw taki in it
this is the best fighting game for psx unless you count tekken and there was a megadrive version
Spectacular game. I was totally addicted. Beautiful songs. Slow paced in comparison with soul calibur, but I liked this way. To collect weapons is adorable fun. I liked this more than soul calibur, that is too difficult and excessively fast.
I already played this on an original disk, but lost it, too bad...
Whatever, this is really a great game, probably the best in the "fighting" genre on PSX. Fights are getting really dynamic in this game, and the mission mode puts a really good alternative to the "Arcade mode, then do it again"( Remeber Teken 3 hm? )
This was known as both soul edge and soul blade, depending on where it was released
it's the first in the series commonly known as soul calibur, there was this, then soul calibur, then soul calibur 2, 3, and 4
this was my favourite fighting game on the PS2, especially for its missions (like having to win by ring out, or fight an enemy who can only be damaged in the air) and the fact that you could get different weapons, with different stats, for each character
