one of the best rpg's ever made but not as good as vii
FF8 is the best final fantasy to me by far, i remember when it first came out and i still like today i can't say that about any other game. when it first came out it was top of the line in graphics and the story is fantastic. i have bought several copies of this game so that shows how much i like this one. if i didn't have the rom i would buy even more copies(especially if mine real copies of these disks didn't work)
i dont care wat any of you say this and 7 were the best final fantasy games ever made! i havnt been able to beat it until now cause when i had the game for the ps1 it got a little scrachy and froze on the second disc...ohh well i have it now so ha! oh and ffX for the ps2 is a great game only for its mini game BLITZ BALL!!!
XII was good but it did lack that square enix "stuff" it was there, but only in the background.
good to see XIII has picked up so far up to chapter 5 everything is good.
gettinf VIII now so i can continue playing Final Fantasy on my laptop.

my mistake was thinking that you need a high level to beat this game and man was i wrong the result made me got several game overs during the end game battle thanks to the shockwave pulser and i had 9999 hit points too bad i cannot do that much damage on limits using squall

Oh Man!!! What a gr8 game. FF8 is the 1st FF i played, and now have played them all from 1 to 10, skipped 11, played 12(Its horrible!!!) and trying to get hands on 13. And FF8 is the best of them all, imo.
Boo to those people with any negative comments for the game. U guys are just not true rpg fans!!
N comeon people, junctioning is cool. Also to those who think low level ff8ing(is that a word??? u get the idea, dont u??) is the way to go, try levelling up to 100, it has its own advantage n is quite challenging.
