Ghostbusters - The Video Game USA

I'm enjoying it, but Ghostbusters has been my favourite movie since I was a little kid, so just being able to drive Ecto1 and run around the station while listening to the music makes me smile. Of COURSE it's not as good as the console versions, btw, most games aren't, are they? This is a handheld and the limitations had to be taken into consideration. Fair enough if you don't like the game (I'm probably just blind with loyalty and nostalgia to see all the flaws some here are) but if you're going to diss the game, PLEASE give reason and not just "this game sucks" - that's not helpful to anyone.

Ok everyone, some people forget that they're dealing with a DS game, and not with a PS3 or a Xbox or a Wii game. The graphics on a DS are not the best, but I'm sure that you can life with it. The game takes place after Ghostbusters 2. You're with a team to *bust* ghosts. With special weapons things (don't know how to call them :P) you can *suck* them into your weapon. I think you should've seen one of the movies to understand it completely, but it's also fun to play for people who didn't see the movies. I give it a 7.5/10

I've read from previews that this game is a bit like that old stalwart X-Com: UFO Defence. In other words, if you suck too much too play X-Com then Ghostbusters DS probably isn't for you...

Anyone have a worthwhile opinion of this game besides "It sucks #$()" or junk like that?

I just downloaded and played for a little while driving and all I caught the ghost yay LOL, BUT QUESTION!?!? um does this game seem laggy to anyone else? Like when driving does it seem to lag out here and there with the music on and sirens going? Well IDk maybe its just me or a bad rip of the game! but Ill check back for feed back thanks in advance! Also WOW having to drive to get the car fixed once u crash ony 5 or 6 times and it goes so slow! Well atleast we get to drive the ecto1 :) Sorry I leave long comments!!

YES !! THANKS YOU so much I have been checking all day! THANKS again downloading now cant wait! I hear its more like a sand box style game compared to the other systems versions! but DS is the only one the lets you drive the ecto1 plus we manage where we spend money what jobs we want to take! Different but I do not think worse or better both will be great!!! Now I need to get the Wii version!!
