DanInJapan: Sucks doesn't it! Haha, my mrs is fully fluent in english caus we lived in Aus together for a few years. So even if I speak alot of Japanese she rathers to keep up with her English :( haha

BiilyHooker: I'm in exactly the same situation! I work in an English speaking environment so I don't get practice Japanese (language or writing) so rely on the wife a lot. I started using 'My Japanese Coach' about a week and a half ago and i have started making some dramatic improvements. Looking forward to checking this one out!

To x9x9x.. This game wont get you fluent in Japanese or Kanji, Therefor it wont help very ,much to play Games in Japanese. Games in Japanese contain ALOT of Kanji, My mrs is japanese and I live in Japan and still my Kanji is really bad, not good enough to play games easily anyway

While 'My Japanese Coach' can be somewhat bland, it did have good pace and it does teach some grammar along the way. This one will appeal to those that like mixing real game play to go with their studying. What matters is what keeps you going, even if it's a more slower paced game. It can go a long way if it's fun.

Woot! Didn't like my Japanese coach as all it does is throwing lists of words but no grammar, will gladly test this one. Thanks Romulation! ^^

Finally, i can learn Japanese to play all the great games that are in Japanese that aren't in English yet. I am definitely downloading it. YES FOR GAMES TEACHING PEOPLE HOW TO SPEAK (J)!

This will remind you of animal crossing a bit with the squeeky chat and a character that you can navigate around with in class rooms to different teachers teaching you different things like grammar and adjectives complete with mini games to test your knowledge. Looks like it could be a fun way to learn Japanese. Haven't seen everything there is to see in this game quite yet though.

They aren't the same because My Japanese Coach was released in Europe too, or the UK at least. Does this one teach you how to speak it or just how to read it?

Aren't they the same but with different names for europe and usa?? if not can you give a feedback since there aren't any reviews?

I've been waiting for this game for quite some time now... Thanks alot Romulation . This game teaches basic japanese for those who want to start learning, is very useful and easy to follow. I've tried the Deutch version and I loved it, highly recommended for those who wish to get started
