just how often does it freeze? is it hard to get to a save point in time sometimes?
I love this game!
Agreed with MindFever.
the game did not froze with me... i love this game and i finished it too... a weird ending though.. its a nice game but not replayable for me... Fun for once..
it forze every not and then...but the last few times, not ever once. I agree, that character changing is a bit of a strange option. But i seriously think they come in handy, both of them.Sure, the spellcaster has cool spells but is alot weaker in attack (unless you have alot of mindUP potions). It depends on your gaming style ,i think... but i must note that i am totaly new to the Castlevania series and i am 27 years old! what a blasphemy huh ? :D Well, after playing Dawn of Sorrow (i tried this one first, then Dawn of Sorrow when i got stuck in Potrait of Ruin),i do miss the souls that you capture and the weapon forging. But in certain parts i enjoyed Portrait of Ruin more than Dawn of Sorrow.I cant explain where or why,but it just happened this way. I will first finish Dawn of Sorrow. But it is cool to know that the storylines are totaly separate, this way i can switch both games in the same day and not feeling guilty of ruining the storylines of both of them :) Cheers, hope this was helpful. Oh,i think that Portrait of Ruin is harder than Dawn of Sorrow ...if this helps, from a total newbie in Castlevania franchise.
castlevania!!is!!my!!game!!!!!!!!
And if you dont know they are part of one Castlevania family Hunters, they arent out of the line as you said; do some research before say something
Is the best Castlevania for NDS and that´s all. Now go play it and u´ll agree with me. DOS is the first one made, so isnt that good. And is short for sure. Eclesia is better than DOS i think.
First of all, I would have to say this is not as good as Dawn of Sorrow. Also, it doesn't follow the same story line (all new characters), but does play about the same. You have two characters you can switch between on the fly, a spell caster and a fighter. Unfortunately, I rarely feel the need to switch from the fighter. DOS was definetely better. As for the freezing, I also had that problem. I just turned off the battery saver option on my card, and it hasn't frozen since. I am using a CycloDS, so maybe that won't work with other cards?
Is the best cuz it is the biggest catlevania available out. Eclesia too short and dawn too.
This is a good game but Dawn Of Sorrow is better in my opinion. I hate how they made Dracula I think they should have put the Symphony Of The Night Dracula sprite in there.
@ raj7095 NO, this one is much better than Dawn of Sorrow. Maybe the best Castlevania for NDS so far.
