no its not a copy of EBA this is the original and EBA copied this game cause they got inspired from this game!!! There's a fan ver for PC, just osu! . there are beatmaps like stepfiles in StepMania, and ppl form internet can make own tracks.
This game is amazing. Even if you don't understand Japanese I would reccomend it. You can figure out what's going on. The music is great, too.
I think people should stop criticizing EBA just because of its music selection. Sure, not many people like their music, but they fit the stages awfully well. That goes for all three titles (Ouendan, EBA, and Ouendan 2).
Since this is the first iteration of the series, Ouendan's graphics have a sort of primitive feel as opposed to the other two. Despite that, it's an epic masterpiece that should not be overlooked. Even if you don't know ANY Japanese!
I play all three games on a daily basis, somewhat religiously. XD
Though this one's the only one I have in ROM form... it's such an expensive import...
I haven't played this game yet, but for those who think that this game is for "weeaboo losers" are just missing out on the much more cooler things outside America that the world has to offer.
I believe this game will be fun.

Hmm i tried EBA, so i am downloading Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan now. hope it better than the totaly RANDOM usa version.
Really great game, eventhough it is all in japanese, it still rocks....good thing my always craves a little j-pop and j-rock every now and then
