This game is AMAZING, and well-worthy of the name Shadowgate. I've always been a fan of adventure games, particularly first-person ones such as this, because you really do feel like you're there. Of course, the fact that you're just a little halfling means you can't bash your way through obstacles, and instead have to rely on your wits and puzzle-solving skills.
I'm serious about the puzzle-solving skills, folks; this game WILL make you tax your brain. You've also got to really pay attention to your surroundings, as kunalverma said, because there are important items hiding where you least expect them, as well as clues to why you're in this predicament in the first place. I'd actually buy the game if I were you, because it's DEFINITELY worth it.
This is an amazing game if you like the puzzle genre.
Make sure you are paying attention to surroundings though because you are bound to get stuck. Or just keep a walkthrough handy... :P lolz
This game has a first-person view. Not too exciting for a N64 game since you start off in an annoying dark jail-cell.
Oh and somehow, taking screenshots on Project 64 halted and brought the game to desktop, in case you wanted to know.
