Yu-Gi-Oh! Reverse of Arcadia

I patched my NDS file, with xdelta but for some reason, when i started a battle with Okita, my game freezes. Why is that?I'm using the US version on my R4iAnd if someone tells me to use Wood R4, how do I use it?
