ysmenu on r4, white screen

please, i beg everyone, i have tried everything to get ysmenu to work on the r4. always no matter what i tried, always white screen. can anybody please help? :( im using the original r4 v1.18, ive gotten loads of different versions of ysmenu and r4ysauto (not sure how to spell :P), all tutorials, nothing worked. its the r4 with the screw on the back :'(

Try this on a formatted microds chipDSTT v1.17a12 YSmenu For R4 Original Users , Updated 2010/03/03http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?wnmqtznmijtIf it is a original R4 then it should work, if not it might be a clone R4 card

Are you using a 2gb microSD chip for your card , as that is what the original R4 can handle upto

If its a non SDHC chip , then it might workBut dose it say SDHC ?but if it dose then you need a R4 SDHC to work with SDHC microSD chip

Do you have a problem with the kernal v1.18 also ?Yes most likely your microDS SDHC is the problem

I would recomend 2gb kingston , for R4 originalBut most 2Gb should work, but not SDHC type

emmm other than getting games after like 4000 to work i think its when it doesnt work. actually ya know the r4li.com site? continues to make r4 f/w? well i shoved in v1.23 into the ds and it worked, any game, BUT none of the games saved even though the .sav files were creatededit: oh yeah i used this one too :/ and your tutorial i have bookmarked it was like a start point for me haha

If you bought it with a 4gb kingston microsd chip , then your R4 card will be SDHC type...So your original firmware website should be on the box it came inIm starting to think it might not be an R4 original from www.r4ds.com

yup thats the site, i still have the box and it says that site. but the 4gig card came in seperate package than the r4, it was like a special offer on the net :D

Ok , either try a 1gb or 2gb if you have a spare , "non" sdhc microsd chipOr mabe a friend might have one to lend

Not one in a older mobile, a friend might have even 256 or 128 mb microSD might do for testing!

ironically no one has one :/ either m2 for sony ericssons or sd the big one :( suuuuucks

dude you will never believe it, instead of getting an sd card, i found a fully working dsi with the happy box r4 in it :S what are the chances, like on the ground :S haha

exsteamy thin.......But you may need a power lead to keep the bat chargedAnyway anyluck with Ysmenu .... , The R4 in the DSI might be diffrent like R4 SDHC type, as a original R4 dose not suport DSI...
