YSmenu help

i have just downloaded YSmenu for my r4 but when i try play a game it says: r4patch.dat can't open loader.could someone help me plz

do i extract the DSTT v1.17a12 to my ysmenu

Either you can extract ttmenu and _DS_MENU.dat to a clean formatted microsd chip , besure to backup games and saves , also make sure you have your original ysmenuAre copy over your TTMenu and _DS_Menu.dat
