your thoughts on heavenly sword....

my thoughts are, if it is truly heavenly, don't i just need to hit the opponent once to kill them or just lift it up and a bright light will shine and destroy all those that are evil, if it is truly the heavenly sword as they say.post your thoughts and comments on rather you're interested in this upcoming game.

What an interesting topic. I suppose it could be heavenly without being instagib style. It all comes back to the saying "If God is all powerful; can he then create a stone even he cannot lift?"Does Heavenly have to been all powerful? It could just be that it's blessed by the Gods so that any sin committed through the usage of the sword would be excused.I dunno, I'm not really into the story line of the game.

That's a very interesting point of view, if something is heavenly shouldn't it only be able to pacify things and not kill it? Intresting!

i did mention that the blade user can lift up the sword in which a light illuminates and kills all evil. not necessarily killing the person, but the evil spirits that are occupying their bodies [spirit and mind].

what happened to all the ps3 owners??? i would have expected some comments about this game, and all i get is just me, seph and some guy talking sarcastically about the title. what the hell gives? where are the sony fanboys and such. in the nintendo board, i asked the thought on metroid prime 3 and i get 2 replies from seph and some guy. what the hell gives. what happened to the "hardcore gamers" and this game?

Sarcasm is more my thing :PAs I see it, the fact that it's called a "Heavenly" sword means it has the blessings of the heavens. In laymans terms, it can destroy shit a lot better than your average sword, but it's all in the name of God, so it's fine.Not like people haven't killed in the name of their God before anyways.

I'm a fangirl of Sony but I unfortunately don't have the PS3. It's what happens when you are poor. :-\ I'm afraid because of being poor I don't have any T.V access. I can't afford to pay for the T.V channels. I have a T.V but only to have something to hook my PS2 up too. ;D What that means is I'm completely out of the loop for new games. I try to get information from here but as was pointed out, I don't seem to find a lot of Gaming talk. It's sort of disappointing but I love the people here so I stay and add my smartass comment when ever I can :-*So is this game for the PS3 and if so is it an RPG? It sounds like it would be an RPG just by the title.Ever heard of God's Wrath? I myself don't believe any being that took the time to create this world would want to see us harmed or have us kissing their feet, but I think that's because I refuse to attach human emotions to this "God" like being. And along the same lines, how many wars and crusades have been started in the name of a religion? If a sword is Heavenly then that usually implies that it is blessed by the gods or god or goddess, which ever the belief system is implemented in this game. In the same essence though, your sword is only as strong as the person using it. Are you playing as a god in the game? If not then I don't think they would give you a sword with God like abilities. Besides that wouldn't make for a very long game would it?You r teh ebil. F33l m\/ wr8th.(You are the evil. lol @ how far off you are on that.You read WAAAAAAYYYYYY to much into the "Heavenly" part of the title. Its just a name nothing more. Its basicly a chic running around hacking douche bags up with a vengence. Kinda like God of War (no relation) with a woman.Just so you God of War is about a guy rebeling agisnt Aieres (god of war in greek myth) and killing him, making him a god of war and THE god of war.

this game isn't an rpg, it's like god of war or onimusha or devil may cry. there is a situation where you must destroy the evil doers from doing any more harm in the future. you go out and from point a to point b and stopping those who are in your way. similar to god of war and onimusha as well as devil may cry. if you want, you can even relate to it similar to the only ninja turtle games [tmnt 2,3], since most of us have a computer and can relate to that and emulation.

I know what God of War is. See hottest Girl topic.And as it's my opinion, my opinion can't be far off. It's my opinion. Which is based loosely on some facts. Facts that I think are fact. Not things you think are fact.And I didn't put anything into the Heavenly title, if you read the rest of the posts it's about a sword. Not the game itself. So there ya go.I lol @ you. ;)
