OK then I change my choice. I like the Reality Gem :PNot only do I control all 8 Basic elements:Fire, Water, Air, Earth, Light, Dark, Metal, Wood.But I control reality itself :P

Fire because it helps people live yet can so quickly distroy too. And because it looks so cool!

Ice & Darkness.I like the cool weather and cool air and cannot stand heat.Ice powers are also really cool like Iceman and Articuno's.Darkness because I love chilling in the dark and cannot stand the light.Dark powers were always cool like controlling shadows,summoning demons and the like.

Shadow/Dark, so I can drain away my enemy's soul.

IN VIDEO GAMES.
Reality doesn't count.And fire shouldn't be an element in the first place since it's a chemical reaction, but the logic of video games says otherwise.

Water, It could be deadly if used right.

I play an Elementalist in Guild Wars, so that's the choice of the four classical elements. I tend to choose Fire Magic in that as in most games. Why? What's not to like about blowing shit up?

Nothing.
Fire's best, I like burning shit, as opposed to ice which is a wimps choice.I do like electricity aswell, to jolt some sense into my enemies.
