is this all normal or do i need to change the plugins or something ?
toy with the plug in config, that is the beggining of the game, there should be a next scene of Fei complaning that they never end you get onto a new battle and well kick ass

actually i reached the part when we can explore the house.
how do we save in the game ?

you need to find a yellow monolith so to speak, it's easy to not miss since it looks out of place compared to well everything else, it's floating usually, but if you really need to save go to the world map and do so, btw before you go onto the main quest explore the village for a bit, win the rock-paper-scissors game, there is also a sidequest that you should do with Citan's wife, it's of searching for her lost ring, do it for bonuses later on the road, also farm for a bit your techs, farm until you are lvl 10 and have most of the techs at a good level, this important due to using button combinations you will end up learning new techs down the road.
