How to install Wood R4 for Clones1. Download the right Wood firmware for your cart above. Check flashcard compatibility to find out which is for yours
2. Download the latest official firmware for your card
3. Extract the archives using WinRAR. You can find the link to it in the 'Tools' section of this topic
4. Format your card using Panasonic SD Formatter. You can find the link to it in the 'Tools' section of this topic
5. Copy the files from 'Files for SD' in the Wood v?.?? archive to the root of your SD card
6. Copy the files from your official firmware archive to the root of your SD card
7. Load your R4. Open 'Wood R4' in the menu. Allow it to create a save
8. Your finished. Enjoy!

I'm using R4SDHC and the english rom by itself because I can't patch it

Re: Get Wood R4 to support Pokemon Black/White Patches on R4 SDHCOk. So it reads it when it isn't patched but when it is the flashcart (R4 SDHC) can't read it. Are you using the wood firmware. Maybe try patching it and running it on your original firmware.

Re: Get Wood R4 for your R4 SDHCWow. Um, well I don't know how it won't work. It works perfectly on mine. Are you sure your using an R4 SDHC (not an "i" or an upgrade)? Try using a formatter on your cart so that there isn't any bugs on it. Also, have you patched the rom you downloaded? Its already patched and so by patching it again it might not work. PM me if you need more help.

Hello, I've a R4 clone (but I think it's a N5 clone ???) and I can't use Wood R4 for clones....
I put it in my card, wood load ok, but when I try to load a rom, wood show 'loading' screen (and in top screen "arm9 code offset 00004000") and stop it :(.I only can use wood 1.42 and load roms using this file: r4loaderdldi.nds (found in waio 1.07 Xenon++ version).
I put the archive in _rpg directory and rename to r4loadersdhc.nds (overwriting this last one).
But loaded roms are so old, no newest roms load (perhaps only load like waio 1.07 Xenon++ version).Maybe You can update r4loaderdldi.nds to 1.42 version ..... and then more card will be support. It's only a wish ;) ;DAh! and sorry for my poor English. :-[ :-[ :-[

I am only familiar with the 'r4sdhcloader' coding, but I will look into it.
