winrar help

ok i downloaded this file which is in rar format, it has a password on it and the only way to get the password is to sign up with like 50 different sites and then supposedly you then recieve an email with the password. now i'm not stupid enough to even bother signing up with these sites as it can easily be a scam, so what i want to know is if there is some program that will let me override the password and just let me extract the file as i really don't want to try and find it somewhere else and download it again. so please if anyone can help it would be greatly appriciated

no, you'd have to crack the password, and depending on its length and complexity, that could take years.

Password is usually the www address of site where RAR file download link was posted (example password: www.romulation.net)
(so try entering those sites as a passwords instead of registering with them or brute force cracking)
