Only if the US DSi comes with the same firmware as the Jap one, otherwise no. Plus, if you go online and try using the DSi's wifi youre going to be forced to update to a new firmware that blocks out ALL flashcarts out right now.

Confirmed working. Updated to 1.13 and still working.
