Will romulation ever get shut down?

i really, really hope not. it's the best site- the community is really friendly and the roms are awesome! but the thing is, what's stopping it from meeting the same fate as ndsroms?

ndsroms was shut down by the staff as a consequence of technical problems and asshole users. We just ban users like that.

This great site will never shut down if the mods and admin do their job. :D
All Hail RomU!!!! ;D

thing is, this stuff is illegal right? there have been sites shut down for showing illegal content.

yes its illegal, and we are occasionally asked to remove certain games, which we do. If we didn't then we would get shut down.

cool! so does that mean romulation will last forever?

Nothing lasts forever, but we're not in any immediate danger of shutting down.

i think it continue for a long time but eventually epa will start blocking games we like as romulation starts getting more and more popular

Just hope seph didn't got bored maintaining this site. ;D

never ask that question... it brings bad omens, the eye is always watching... Romulation isn't going anywhere soon

Lol'd for various reasons.

Though I've not been as active as I want to be, I Damn love RomUlation & I'd definitely kill the people who even dares shut this place down!Except if it were seph or loony who shuts the site down of course.

Think about all the other sites that offer ROMs
If this site was shut down, then the others would also ahve to be shut down.
