Hi, please forgive my ignorance but i am new to all this computer stuff. I have just bought a wii and i am wondering if u can play downloaded games on it or if it needs to be chipped(??) first. ???

it needs to be chipped.

There is a softmod for it, so you don't need to void your warranty.

I can write a tutorial for how to play backups on the Wii without a modchip but I havent the rights from this site.
