read the rules for debates, please, this should be in gaming lounge.
Almo's Debate Rules- If your starting post is less than 100 words then don't bother making a debate. A debate requires a starting argument not just a "x vs y. Discuss". Do a well thought-out post that people can respond to instead of putting the effort of actually making it a debate on everyone else.

Because people follow these debate rules, ever? Both of them, they are both different consoles with their own set of pros and cons.

I assume they're stickied for a reason, but I guess if nobody cares nobody cares. The question is really software vs hardware, not that 360 doesn't have good software but the wii has by far a better variety of software than the x360 does. But as far as hardware goes, the 360 makes the wii look last-gen.But while we're on hardware quality, red ring of death.no more needs to be said about it but its name.

I have both but don't bother with the wii.
The 360 has more games that I like and I prefer a proper controller too.

Just pointing out the faults in your pros and cons, you should add to both if they both have it.

Uh.....Wii plays GC games (backwards compatible)
Wii has Old Games to download (VC)
Wii has free online (though admittedly it's not as dedicated as XBOX 360's.)Consider your reasons a bit more XD

One other thing, is the RROD fixed in the new console?
If it is you can't keep knocking the 360 for it. Just buy a new one and the problem is no longer there.
