Yoshi2889Every other device in the Console series needs game cards or CDs. Both (virtual and actual media) have it's up and downsides though.The good thing about game media is that you get some kind of money back if you trade it in or sell it to someone. I hate DLC. It has no resale value.

A better comparison would be something like a mobile phone versus the iPad, since it makes more sense to compare the two.

I would definitely prefer consoles , if your going to play the games in a home environment.
But I would prefer an iPad , if I was going to play the games outside of home.

iPad. Although I wouldn't use it much, it would be nice for the bathroom because I currently mess around on my phone. Pretty much all videogames these days are really shitty and challenge your patience more than coordination and intellect. LOL FUNNY HOW THAT HAPPENED, VIDYA SOLD OUT JUST LIKE MOVIES AND MUSIC. So I don't care about games anymore.edit: removed a bunch of totally unnecessary curse words.

I'm still looking forward to the new Deus Ex, loads of indie\small games devs are coming out with good stuff and there's a lot to be said for some classic gaming.
