We host a large number of files, and without the point sytem in place, a small number of greedy users would saturate the connection and create a poor experience for everyone else.When you sign up at RomUlation, 500 points are credited to your account to get you started. Files under 50MB in size do not cost any points, they're free to download! However, files over 50MB in size cost 1 point per MB. For example, an 80MB file will cost 80 points. » Upload Screenshots! Each screenshot that you upload and get approved earns you 15 points. See the screenshots section for more information.
» Purchase points! If you just can't wait, you can purchase a block of 15,000 points for $5.00 USD.Points are removed from your account as soon as you begin your download. The point cost for that file will then be set to zero for you for 24 hours, enabling you to redownload the file in case of a broken download or interrupted transfer. You can, however, always resume a file at no point cost.

So the only way if you don't want to pay for the points or become premium members is to wait or upload screenshots. :D

dont post download links, they are private to you and someone else clicking them will download it using your points. post the information page instead.If you had read the introduction guide, or the 'what are points?' link on the front page (after logging in) you would know all about the point system.
