what's the best classic game you've played?

lemmingz... and the original castle wolfenstien

mario 1 :p

street fighter 2

Forgot to mention Space Invaders.

pac man... stupid game and your "waka waka waka"

for me, it has to be between Galaga and Tetris.

tetris is the best

Matchbox MotorCity Patrol it is like the all time classic of driving/police games god i love that game

Hmm...I'm sort of torn between Turrican and Defender of the Crown. These are games I played from the Commodore 64 days mind you, so 8-bit all the way.Little known fact: The C64 version of Turrican had a boss that the Genesis version (which was essentially the exact same game as the C64 version, but 16-bit) didn't have in the vertical level where you had a jet pack that propelled you upwards. Truth.

Breath of Fire 1 & 2 for the SNES

rise of the triad.

wow, havent played tomba in yonks, and yeah Pac Man GO LEVEL 256!

Hmm, Tetris (for the original Gameboy) for the REALLY old ones. But I'd have to say either Fire Emblem Seisen no Keifu (SNES) or Suikoden 2 (PS1)

SOCOM 1, 2, 3, Combined Assualt, and Confrontation...Best War Series

RysioTetris - it never gets boring :D

I GREW UP WITH TETRIS!I watched my mother play...and wanted to beat her scores...Done :)Also-contra/probotector....hard...but worth the effort just to see the credits :)

Raiden

FFIX, is this considered as classic?

if its made 10 years ago then yes...
contra and starfox 64

^Uh, it's almost 10 years when the FFIX was made.

Dai-4-ji Super Robot Taisen(The 4th Super Robot War) on the SNES
