What would it be like if we had tails?

I'd like mine to be like the xenomorph tail, you know with a sharp blade on the end?THAT would be useful, anything else is another excuse for people to "pull my tail" :(

you can use it for all sorts of things not just killing and violence....although practical jokes would be cool
