If you are really sure all these (command prmpt, paint, widows media player etc ) has been deleted, then the best thing to do is reinstall windows.Post Merge: [time]1388034852[/time]
Btw Get Norton or Kaspersky. Avast is useless.

I agree with how good Kaspersky is but Norton is way worse than Avast! will ever be. The only way Avast could have messed up your system like that is if you used a crack to get it for free. Also at narutoSS5, you're better off asking for assistance for such problems over at http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/Otherwise it looks like you're better off doing a full Windows reinstall.

Avast! is a bad AV? and there are no cracks in for avast! as far as i am aware, people are buying licenses for it and sharing them.as far as the stuff goes, save what you can, important docs, music if it's in you music listening device can be ripped later from it, but your priority is saving those documents, wipe windows and then create a partition of 20 GB for you to install your version of windows the other partition format it to NTFS and it's going to act as your deposit for files, in case you screw up windows you only need to reinstall windows and will not lose the files.

Not easy when the whole package is over 200$ and you have to pay a huge amount of taxes for ordering anything that is beyond the 100$.I also used nod32 it's no the most user friendly, avast was right on the user friendly until their rehaul of the GUI

I'm in the same boat as Duncan, I can't afford expensive AVs.$200 USD here is already 8 879.81175 Philippine Pesos which is almost my whole month's salary (which is 10K) and I have far more important obligations like Bills to take care of.

I've never heard of avast! causing anything like this, and I very much doubt it is avast! at fault.

Actually Necr0, the OP who made this topic already responded back in Feb 2014. He was last online roughly over a week ago. But apparently this discussion is over far before 8bit necro it. You should wonder why he necro a settled topic.

Can you download it? Of cause you can. Nobody is preventing you.
But as to what purpose you intend on doing by downloading it, is another matter altogether.
Just so you know, it's not an NDS emulator for PC.
