I guess Platinum.
Seeing as how you can catch Dialga, Palkia and Giritina.
There's more stuff in Platinum. ( I think)

I play Pearl not Diamond. But Platinum is the better one, if your asking content wise. If you already own Diamond or Pearl unless the game is marked down a bit(not the same original price)then I'd say go for Platinum if someone asks me whether or not they should buy it.Or if your just a big PKMN nut then go ahead and get it. I don't do it anymore, but I myself used to be the type to get all the games.

Pearl = Diamond < Platinum.Platinum is basically Pearl and Diamond put together with a little bit more.Just like Gold, Silver and Crystal, Crystal was better.
Just like Ruby, Sapphre and Emerald, Emerald was better.Red, Blue and Yellow however, different story.
