What exact dimensions of a game do you like?

I can't word it well, but I don't mean the genre of a game, I mean...what parts of any and all genre's suit you?It seems something arcade works best for me, restrictions...a direction...no off cuts. lost planet 2 works well because there is no room for exploration, and while dead rising 2 is a sand box game, the time limit forces you along, and the confines of the world, while big enough to just EXPLORE freely, isn't so big I'd loose interest.I got bored of assassin's creed because of the freedom, sure randomly killing is cool but I need the structure, racing games work best for me (most notibley the truly arcade/ cart type racers, though gt5 is an exception).I look at my collection of games and many of them toss reality out the window, those that come somewhat close ot are too much free roaming/creativity required I loose interest (even armoured core, I love giant robots and all, but tinkering around with the parts to get perfection...well I got bored as hell :( )And FPS games I don't like as much as I used to, bioshock 1 and 2, while I do intend on clocking them, I have no interest at this point, and aliens vs predator I just cbf'd doing anything past easy because it's all BS (especially nightmare, as a marine you gotta be godly to do this).Though their are rule breakers, I didn't consider red dead redemption at all until i heard about the zombie dlc :D

You have Higurashi avatar, so I must answer. Wai-What? Interesting question.
Well, I like freedom a lot. Super Scribblenauts, the Elder Scrolls, etc. They allow for near limitless creativity, within their own rules, of course.
I like a game that challenges you intellectually. Professor Layton series is good at this (except when they use insane troll logic puzzles, that is). Phoenix Wright is also okay at this.
I like some sort of....insanity. The games I mentioned before are especially good at this. Scribblenauts series is a toybox, Elder Scrolls series allows you to completely wreak havoc and Phoenix Wright is insane itself.
I also like my games to have a certain flow to them. Okami and Zelda do this for me.

I don't like too much freedom, in oblivion you can just wander for hours and achieve nothing. I do like the game though if I stick to quests but you always spot something in the distance and go to see what it is, and then theres always something else just a little bit further.....
I got quite bored quite quickly.

I oddly never traveled much in the Oblivion, instead I stick to the main towns/cities and did lots of quests. It was incredibly fun.
I never got bored XD
I forgot to add, I like games that reward persistence and patience and then let you nuke your enemies. Pokemon, Final Fantasy, Advance Wars, Kingdom Hearts, Warhammer40K and many other rpgs and strategy series do this.

I like my games to have a circumference of about 6 inches and the length of 6, or 7.
