a big plus in this game is it's energy and satire. I played a knock-off version of this series. Some of you may have heard of it... Jake Hunter... It was ultimately crap because it was just pushing buttons. No flashing "OBJECTION!"s, no dumbfounded judge, no comedy, and most of all, no coffee thrown at the main character. XD

I'm a huge fan of the Ace Attorney series too. My favorite parts are the unique, interesting casts of characters, the piecing together of clues (even though the games are very linear, you do need to think a bit!), & humor. They did an excellant job of translating the series to English - it's really rare for a game to actually make me laugh out loud, especially in public. I also enjoy reading, including pulp mysteries & detective stories, so the series is right up my alley.

I really love this series because the characters are very original, the story is compelling, it requires you to think and remember things that have previously gone on in the game, and it's like reading a manga. It all comes together so beautifully.

I'm new at this forum and this thread piqued my curiosity so I'll start posting at this one first.Well one of the reason people like this game not just because it's manga-like.
Like all those other people said before this game is a very good one, even though it has a linear gameplay.
But the story is so Addictive and what can make you more happier than pointing contradiction and expose other people's lies in front of the whole courtroom! :o
It has a good humor too I find my self laughing sometimes, and the characters are the best! ;D

Oh also, the game makes a bunch of cultural references and suchwhat.

Well GlidingGoose maybe we can't force you to like this game, everyone has a different taste.The point of this thread is to find out why most people like this game, and you've heard many arguments from us. I think you've understood why many people like playing Ace Attorney.
