WBFS files

I it possible for wbfs to have viruses?

theoretically yes, I doubt anybody would go to that effort though.

So I shouldn't worry to much about downloading those type of files? And running on an emulator?

WBFS files can't be run on an emulator, they're for a softmodded Wii only. For an emulator you need disc images, which WBFS files are made from.Exercising caution is always advised when downloading files from the internet, you should always have a reliable (i.e not Norton or Mcafee) and up to date antivirus, and an antimalware solution such as malwarebytes is also advisable. While it's extremely unlikely that a WBFS file itself is infected, it's possible that there may be a virus in the archive with it, depending on where you obtain the archive from. Files on this site are safe, and probably most other reputable rom sites will also be safe.

I have run WBFS files on dolphin no problem.
