Gee, isn't that what ROM's are?!

We do realize that it's a bit ironic to have such a rule when we readily ignore it with the ROMs but it's mostly so we don't draw anymore attention to ourselves then we are currently doing with the ROMs on the site.We're semi-protecting ourselves. :P

Technically, yes. But 99% of the people here don't realise this, and the 1% that do actually get the gist of it.

Warez attracts a different crowd and also many more viruses. Want to guess how many people get their viruses while looking for CD Keys, NO-CD Cracks, or KeyGenerators? Just look at Mr. "I just installed 50 Viruses with one single downloaded program" over in the non-emulator help section :)

it sounds strange, but I really hate that kind of seedy underground community.
At least with romUlation we aren't hiding under tables dealing keygens.

Yet I run no AV most of the time and very rarely have any problems. It's all about common sense.

Yes, but a lot of the people looking for that stuff aren't very bright :) Most of us here are exceptions.
