virtual box no reconize usb

virtual box (latest version) is not reconizeing my kingstone usb as a usb device it keeps thanking its a floppy dive, is there a way to fix this?
note: im runing vista 64 bit home edition, and i have 64 bit version of virtual box

probably not, it's probably to do with how the VM software handles USB devices.

my 32bit VMs (XP pro) hadle USB devices perfectly, perhaps its something to do with 64bit ed?

could be the VM software he's using.

even vmware wont let me use usbs it says, failed to initialize usb controler

driver problem on your computer then, or an unsupported USB controller.
