Trithrr seems to understand what i mean.are there some others?i like the RPG part and the fact that they're moving in blocks and that there's a cut scene when you fight...(hope you guys understand me,, like the blocks thing, like when it's your turn to move, the whole field will get a sort of roster. which you can move on, anyway! :P)

For DS, Apocalyptica list is nice. Emphasis to both advanced wars, Disgaea, Rondo of Swords and Maybe Fire Emblem.But play the Original Final Fantasy Tatics for PS1. If you can get the PSP version. Way better.
Probaly one of the best Tatics game that was ever released.

The only thing bad about the PSP version was the delay when ever you performed an action. I own the actual game for the PSP, and it lags on actions when playing it from the UMD or ISO, doesn't make a difference.There are small additions to the PSP version, characters, job classes, etc. But the PSX game runs perfectly on the ePSXe emulator and much smoother.

Are you fine with japanese games...?
If yes you can play the Super Robot Taisen series...
If not at least try Super Robot Taisen Original Generation 1 and the sequel 2 on the GBA(They have been released in English)
