Unusually slow Download Speed

Normally, even on this site, I get download speeds either at nearly maximum speed or actually at maximum speed (130 kilobytes per second, as per our Cox internet subscription). However, I just downloaded Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Red Rescue Team (GBA rom) and it took about twice as long as a normal 9 MB file does. Is this because of the higher traffic volume due to the "free Christmas" promotion?

Yeah most likely. We used stupidly high amounts of bandwidth for this stuff.

Maybe premium members should get higher priority?

This is not technically possible right now. It's 2 days, I'm sure people will survive.
