When I try to patch a ROM with Universal child's play patch it says "Can't find the universal code pattern to be patched" what do i do, how do i fix it, HOW DO I PATCH A ROM SO IT WORKS?????if you answer these questions... THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It depends on the game. Rudolph's patch does not work with every game.

how about if I get the (J) version of Warioware DIY and patch it then use a patch to put it in english?

Also, WarioWare DIY is already fixed in every firmware.
So where is the fixed version for R4i gold then?

Maybe nowhere. R4i Gold doesn't have a whole lot of compatible fixes.
