Ultimate Mortal Kombat DS Black screen problem

Before anyone even asks, Yes I even tried the mega upload version. I did everything correctly, loaded it up and still got a double black frozen screen. I am using an R4 SDHC with a Kingston 2GB micro SD which has been formated with moonshell on it. I have no clue what else to try, if anyone can offer some help or advice it would be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried updating your firmware at all?That may help.And is this the patched version of the game?

I just updated it three days ago with moonshell 2 and as far as I know this is the patched version. I am not bothering looking for a torrent, last time I tried the damn thing NEVER downloaded.
