Q: Which version do I need?
A: If you use Vista with UAC enabled, or with a non-admin account, you need the 2nd one, “Vista compat…”, otherwise (win95-vista without uac, and Linux), use the normal one that says 32/64-bit)

what is a trimmer?

DS game cards are manufactured in discrete sizes, each a factor of two larger than the one before it. Ergo, in megabytes we have 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, 128, 256 and now 512. I'm not too sure what the lower boundary is, but that doesn't matter.Anyway, DS games aren't designed to be these exact sizes, so they're padded with junk data to make them fit. Rom trimmers remove this junk data, resulting in smaller file sizes with (generally) no adverse effects.

I saw that, but I didn't understand it. But I don't use vista, and I got no account, so I guess the first one? Whit a non-admin account?

Hotlinking is disabled on the site, apparently.
