Thoughts on Marvel Vs Capcom 3?

I think they wanted people to just fight on versus.The fight to death.

Devon-chanMvC3 is pretty much tournament built. A major complaint from MVC2 was that you had to unlock stuff.

I sort of get it, but it'd be the equivalent of signing on CoD for the first time and you have every single gun, and class unlocked. Some of the magic that makes CoD so great is lost when you do that. The whole point is to have a competitive edge over someone who just started playing compared to someone who has dedicated their time into playing.Tournaments really should be end-game anyway.The complaint I had with MvC2 was that it took way too long to unlock everything. It should have been 1-2 playthroughs get you a character unlocked. It was a little bit of a grind to get everything.In this way, I guess they struck a somewhat decent balance.
