hmm rpg wise is kingdom hearts series(i ve never known a short KH) and FF12(only one that i havent murdered in less then 36 hours XD) best shooter is resistance series and killzone(despite wat ppl say i think 2 is awesome just like ur in a real war feeling). but best games ever......MGS SERIES AND UNCHARTED SERIES FTMFW WOOOOOT

The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time

Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2

checkers.

half life 2

Batman: Arkham Asylum

Fallout 2 or Mass Effect 2.

See, this is a hard question. I've played so many games, ergo, I have so many favorites.
My favorite game series are Halo, Metroid, and Metal Gear, to narrow it down a bit.

As of now,Monster Hunter Freedom : Unite.Although next week, it'll probably change.....
