[Suggestion] Good Movie Maker Software?

Hello,
I need some suggestion for the good movie maker software.
Like the Windows Movie Maker, Nero..etc.
I have to combine all movie clips together into one, and prefer more(and not complicated) function.
Just suggest one or more of these software, and I'll decide which one I'll take based on your suggestion. ;D
Thanks.* Its for an assignment. *sigh*

I hear Adobe Premiere Pro is popular as well...I personally alternate between Sony Vegas and Windows Movie Maker. Just depends what you need to be done.

Having used vegas 7 and 8, and premiere 6.5, pro 1.5 and pro 2.0, I have to say premiere is absolutely awful. Not only does it cost nearly 8x as much as Vegas, but it is extremely slow and unstable. As an example, I was never able to use the titler because it would automatically crash the program. It lags like hell when you've got an hour of video on the timeline, and despite what adobe says, it does not support multiple processors. I used to play far cry at the same time as rendering a video because premiere just entirely ignored my second core.Vegas, on the other hand, is awesome. Awesome enough for me to abandon my legal copy of premiere pro 2.0 and buy vegas 8. (I pirated 7 to try it)

you screwed that quote up.Besides, my concience is clear with regards to pirating vegas 7 since I bought both 8 and 9 (then sold 9 when it became apparent it wasn't going to work on my OS).

Godammit, I try to import my video clips into the windows Movie Maker, but IT DOES NOT SUPPORT MP4 files!!!:'(1 short question,
Does Vegas support MP4 files?
If yes, could you suggest more movie maker other than vegas that support MP4 files,
Dun ask me to convert it, cause it lowered the quality of the MP4 files to lower quality... :)

vegas supports anything you have codecs for. You're best off editing uncompressed video though because editing will slightly reduce the quality, then it will get reduced again when rendering to the output format.

Looks like I need to use Google or Metacrawler to search for the Illegal one. ;D

Use Corel if you just need to put together some clips.
Download Next Movie Converter for free or Koyote Softs Free Video Converter to convert the files to WMV if you wanna use WMM. But when you convert videos to another format they lose a little quality :-\
