Stupid Micro SD Card won't format! Please Help!

I have this 4GB Micro SD Card, that I use for my R4i Eu Gold. I was going to delete everything to make way for the Supercard DSTWO firmware since I was getting one on Monday, but as soon as I pushed the Micro Card Reader into the USB Slot, it shows up but when I click it, it says it needs formatting, but when it tries to be formatted, it won't format. Any help here?

the microsd has died and needs replacing.

Try panasonic SD formatter http://panasonic.jp/support/global/cs/sd/download/index.html

Panasonic SD Formatter : Formats your microSD. Use these options : FORMAT TYPE - FULL (Erase ON) : FORMAT SIZE ADJUSTMENT - ON.

PS: Also check your USB posts are type it is using like PCI slot's type can cause issues

Not working -_- Might be the Card Reader......

You can try another reader, but usually if the reader fails, your computer will fail to recognize the device at all.It is not uncommon for MicroSDs to fail.

isn't a good idea, it will eat read/write cycles and could end up killing it as a result.

EDIT: I think I just worked out what you meant. You mean admin rights on the computer, not this forum, right? I thought you were asking if I was an admin here.
But I think you quoted the wrong person.

Try formatting using another computer and another reader, try it with a phone or camera, if it doesnt work then look into low-level format with a pc. Try cleaning the contacts with tape.If this doesnt work then your microsd is dead

The Card REader is the one you get with an R4i.
