Sprite Help

This is very frustrating to me right now. I need to start making my sprites for my new game but I can't find any sprite programs. If you have any suggestions, try to post some downloads.

Err, a regular sprite maker? Depending on your engine a sprite can be anything from a custom graphics format to just a png file. You need to understand your engine a bit better and then elaborate.
