Spain - Winners of Euro 08

Yesterday, Spain won one the most prestigious cup. Germany actually had to win, there squad had bombs and they were favourites. I heard a lot of Spanish also favoured Germany to win. Well, it all depends on luck and luck went Spain's way. Enrique must be happy his team won...

Yeah, I watched this yesterday? on Prime, one of the free sports channels we get here. My german friend Phillip (who is also Greek), watched it as well, he's so depressed now :P

My friend named Noel is a great fan of Germany. When he heard that Spain won he was like :'(

I watched the match aswell and was quite disappointed....It was not the best one throughout the whole championship but spain was simply better on that day and they deserve to be the winner

Spain were on a role as the had not lost any match not even one.

i dont think so, they never really played like a team to me. i agree with equitypetey, netherlands should have won, great offense, so-so defense, but an all round good team. nevertheless, i didnt want germany to win, and i am glad spain won :)

fernando torres' goal was a heart breaker, lehmann did the right thing but still XD ah... so sad for the keeperwoo spain

i was rooting for spain as im a Liverpool fan
i was so glad Torres scored in the final

i also though russia played well
