Sorry, you have been banned from this site.
G
A message of the sort popped out some minutes ago, when I tried to access the main page. Is this a bug? Also, after it, I noticed there are some word-linked advertisements. Is there any connection?
R
It happened to me a couple minutes ago, but it should be working now.
G
lol, it scared me.What about the word links? Were they here before? I thought it was maybe a forced ads update, cause when I could log in, the layout was all messy and these words were everywhere.
R
No idea honestly. I don't typically see the ads because of my premium status.
S
The ads were there before. Nothing changed except a little database thing which meant the permissions couldn't be loaded for a few seconds.
G
How to scare a man in a few seconds. lol. Thanks anyway. :)
N
Yeah, maybe you should change the message to something more appropriate.
S
Um, well it the message that shows when a person is banned, how should I change it? Make it more offensive?
R
"You've been banned from this site. Have a nice day :) "^It's all in how you word it.
S
Oh well. I guess some admins took the 'ban the person above you' game too seriously. ;D
N
Well, in this case people who weren't banned got a 'you are banned' message. Is there for example a way to contact the admin in case of an error?
S
When such an error takes place the admin already knows. :)
But yeah I get an email when something bad happens.
C
Or, you could just have one simple word come up. ;)NOWhat do you think? :D
M
WinterreiseI think you should change the message to "You have been permanently banned from this site. Attempts to reverse this ban will have harmful impacts upon your life and the lives of your loved ones".It's quick, simple, and it gets the message across. ;D
Love it!
